Go Wireless or Go Home

By The Chronicle

Need to check your e-mail, but don’t have any Internet access?

Check out downtown Centralia, home to a plethora of restaurants, antique shops and Wi-Fi.

The city of Centralia operates a broadband system through the power lines on Tower Avenue and Pearl Street, which went online in January.

Other downtown businesses, like Santa Lucia Coffee, offer free wireless, as does the Centralia Timberland Library on Silver Street.

To use the service, guests must simply have a portable computer or other device that can pick up a wireless signal.

Wireless is also available at all Timberland Regional Libraries in Lewis County and at the Lewis County Historical Museum.
